Baseball Game Preview: Ridgewood Rebels vs. Aurora East Tomcats

The Ridgewood Rebels are taking a road trip to challenge the Aurora East Tomcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ridgewood came up short against Glenbard South on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Ridgewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Frankie Barcas, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-0 to Elmwood Park.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1.
