Softball Game Preview: Laingsburg Wolfpack vs. Fowler Eagles

The Laingsburg Wolfpack will square off against the Fowler Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Laingsburg comes in on five and Fowler on three.

Laingsburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against East Lansing on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wolfpack with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Fowler hadn't done well against Bath recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the Fighting Bees a 16-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Laingsburg pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fowler, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
