After losing to Valley View the last time they met, Waynesville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Waynesville Spartans snuck past the Valley View Spartans with a 69-63 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Waynesville.

Valley View lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ty Fritz, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Fritz's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Denny, who posted 18 points.

Waynesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Valley View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Waynesville will face off against Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Waynesville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three games. Valley View has already played their next matchup, a 77-61 win against Talawanda on the 1st.
