Softball Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

Saddleback was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-8 to the Portola Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-6 last Tuesday.

Saddleback's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Portola, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saddleback will face off against Hawthorne at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Portola, they will be playing at home against Century at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
