Volleyball Recap: Homestead Gets the Win

Homestead won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Friday too. The Homestead Mustangs came out on top against the Fremont Firebirds by a score of 3-1.

Homestead had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-21.

The victory got Homestead back to even at 2-2. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Homestead will take on Harker at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Harker their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Fremont, they will challenge Los Altos at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
