Softball Preview: Williamsville East Flames vs. Clarence Red Devils

The Williamsville East Flames will play host again on Tuesday to welcome the Clarence Red Devils, where first pitch is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Williamsville East is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Sweet Home a 7-0 shutout.

Not much got past Grace Kessel, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Sweet Home off the board. Kessel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
