Football Recap: St. Helens Takes a Loss

After soaring to 33 points the game before, St. Helens was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Seaside Seagulls. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 63-6 to the Seagulls when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Helens has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Seaside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Helens is set to take on their familiar foe Astoria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Seaside will square off against rival Tillamook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
