Baseball Recap: Naylor Takes a Loss

Naylor managed to slip by Puxico the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Indians on Thursday, falling 12-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Naylor and nudges their season record down to 6-7. As for Puxico, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naylor will take on Gideon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Puxico, they will square off against Delta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
