Recap: Summertown Eagles vs. Moore County Raiders

The Moore County Raiders typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Summertown Eagles proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Raiders 51-49. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but Summertown was the better team in the second half.

Summertown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emily Brazier led the charge by scoring ten points. Karlie Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.

Summertown is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Moore County, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-6.

Summertown will take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loretto will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak. As for Moore County, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
