A Season-Best Performance from James Stampley Leads Kankakee over Bloom
Kankakee was led to victory by James Stampley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Stampley picked up 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Bloom's probably not too fond of Stampley given he always seems to get the better of them. Stampley rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Blazing Trojan duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kankakee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Phillip Turner. Turner was dynamite, throwing for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.
On the year, Turner has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121 passing yards per game.

Cedric Terrell and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Kankakee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Cedric Terrell. Bloom had no answer to Terrell as he rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Terrell has averaged 19.6 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.71 receiving yards per game.

While Rich Township might've come up empty on Friday, Ortez Johnson wasn't going down without a fight. Johnson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 82 yards on only ten carries.
Rich Township's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4. Johnson and Rich Township will welcome Thornridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
