West Stanly and North Stanly are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Colts will square off against the Comets on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (West Stanly 2.3, North Stanly 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

West Stanly is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let West Davidson get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Colts as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, North Stanly made easy work of North Surry on Friday and carried off a 12-0 victory. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

North Stanly's win was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for West Stanly, their win bumped their record up to 20-6.

West Stanly couldn't quite finish off North Stanly when the teams last played back in March and fell 7-5. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
