See the projected No. 1 pick during his prep days.
Joe Burrow is likely to be the fourth Ohio high school football player to be selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft since 1990. This year's draft has a wrinkle because of the coronavirus pandemic, as it will be held virtually instead of in Las Vegas as originally planned.
The
Athens (The Plains) alum would join fellow Buckeye State products Orlando Pace (Sandusky), Ki-Jana Cater (Westerville South) and Dan Wilkinson (Dunbar). If Burrow goes with the top pick as projected, Ohio would put an end to three straight top picks from Texas.
With four No. 1 picks, Ohio would close the gap to one between the Lone Star State and California, which each own five top picks.
