Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Hudsonville's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Hudsonville saw some tournament action on Friday. They managed a 51-46 victory over the Kenowa Hills Knights. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Knights are ranked 112th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hudsonville is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. Kenowa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Hudsonville will square off against Grand Haven at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Grand Haven will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Hudsonville surely won't give up without a fight. Kenowa Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
