Basketball Game Preview: Encampment Tigers vs. Little Snake River Rattlers

Encampment hasn't had much luck against Little Snake River recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Encampment Tigers will be playing at home against the Little Snake River Rattlers at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Encampment is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since February 2, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 victory over Saratoga. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Little Snake River had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 63.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 57-50. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but the Rattlers were the better team in the second half.

Encampment's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Little Snake River, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
