Volleyball Recap: Glenn Grizzlies vs. Vista Ridge Rangers

Glenn and Vista Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Glenn had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Rangers. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured 14 losses in a row dating back to last season.

Glenn took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-20.

Leading Vista Ridge to victory were Kai Nedrow and Nathan Nicely. Nedrow had 14 digs and two aces, while Nicely had four digs and two aces. Those 14 digs gave Nedrow a new career-high. Daniel Borges also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Vista Ridge, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
