Modesto Christian piles up the points against Tokay

Make it nine blowout wins for the Modesto Christian Crusaders this season. They breezed by Tokay at home to the tune of 88-51. Winning may never get old, but Modesto Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Modesto Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marcus Washington, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Bernard, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Modesto Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Tokay, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Modesto Christian will take on Lodi at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lodi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Modesto Christian is ranked 40th). As for Tokay, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Tracy at 7:30 p.m. Tracy is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
