Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Warner Eagles.

Sequoyah now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Warner, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-2.

Looking ahead, Sequoyah will challenge Lincoln Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warner, they will be playing at home against Porum at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
