Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seagoville). They breezed by the Samuell Spartans to the tune of 66-12 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Dragons as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Seagoville's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Samuell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Seagoville is taking a road trip to challenge Poteet at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Samuell, they will be home for the holidays to greet North Mesquite at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Samuell's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so North Mesquite's offense will have their work cut out for them.
