The Four Corners Coyotes are taking a road trip to challenge the Ridge Community Bolts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Four Corners is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Four Corners is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Haines City on Friday. Four Corners was the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over Haines City. The Coyotes have beaten the Hornets the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hornets has come to flipping the script.
Favor Maithe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Maithe was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Jeremiah Renaldo looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Ronaldo Rivera, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Cameron Haigh also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Four Corners kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Haines City only managed four hits.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ridge Community and Bartow, and Ridge Community kept the tradition alive. Ridge Community won by a run and slipped past Bartow 2-1.
Anthony Brooks made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Kameron Bullard tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched.
Brooks wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Omir Santos, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Ridge Community has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-4-1.
Four Corners was able to grind out a solid win over Ridge Community when the teams last played back in February, winning 7-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Four Corners since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
