Baseball Recap: East Takes a Loss

The matchup between East and Mifflin on Monday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers came up short against the Punchers, falling 19-4. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Punchers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

East now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mifflin, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, East is taking a road trip to challenge Columbus International at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mifflin, they will welcome Fairfield Union at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Punchers surely won't give up without a fight.
