Soccer Recap: North Pike Takes a Loss

North Pike fell victim to Loyd Star and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Loyd Star Hornets, falling 7-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in November of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for North Pike and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Loyd Star, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

North Pike will square off against Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loyd Star, they will face off against Wesson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyd Star is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
