Football Recap: Second Baptist Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Second Baptist played against KIPP Houston on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Second Baptist's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for KIPP Houston, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Second Baptist will head out to face off against Fort Bend Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for KIPP Houston, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on KIPP Sunnyside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Kerberos their first taste of in-conference action this season.
