Horton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Axtell, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-15 record.
Horton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on the 5th. As for Axtell, they will take on Onaga at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Axtell is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
