Volleyball Recap: Dawson School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dawson School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Clear Creek Golddiggers. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Golddiggers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dawson School was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-14.

Bella Ward paced Dawson School's offense, picking up six kills. Ward got some help from Gabby Green and her ten assists. Ilaria Eliopolous controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Dawson School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Clear Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Dawson School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Dayspring Christian Academy on the 30th. Clear Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
