Baseball Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

The East Jackson Trojans lost 18-3 to the Columbia Central Golden Eagles on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly 15 runs.

East Jackson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Holloway, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for East Jackson and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Columbia Central, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, East Jackson will host Taylor Prep on Saturday. As for Columbia Central, they will head out to face off against Decatur at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
