Softball Recap: Moore Takes a Loss

Moore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 26-4 to the Brown Bears. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Moore saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Whittaker, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Aubrianna Griffin was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Brown, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Moore will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
