Soccer Game Preview: Dodge County vs. Dublin

Dodge County has gone 8-2 against Dublin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Dodge County will head out to face off against Dublin at 5:30 p.m. Dodge County's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Dodge County's win against Bleckley County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Dodge County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Bleckley County on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dodge County were the better team in the second half.

Glenna Whitley was the driving force of Dodge County's attack as she scored both of Dodge County's goals, bringing her season total up to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Jefferson County. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dodge County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Dodge County beat Dublin 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. Does Dodge County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dublin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
