Soccer Recap: Fairfield Central Comes Up Short

Fairfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Newberry Bulldogs, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Newberry this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Fairfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Newberry, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairfield Central nor Newberry have any future games scheduled.
