Despite the defeat, Cardinal Gibbons got top-tier performance from Cash McSweeney, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. McSweeney is becoming a predictor of Cardinal Gibbons' success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 14-6 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). However, it's not like Broughton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
