Frederick Douglass had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the Boyle County Rebels get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Frederick Douglass' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Boyle County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Frederick Douglass has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Bryan Station on the 2nd. Hopefully Boyle County paid attention to the Broncos' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
