Soccer Recap: Manzano Gets the Win

Manzano's contest on Monday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Highland Hornets get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. It was an even better day for Layla Vigil as she scored four goals for her team.

Manzano used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Highland. Brooke Meisner played for 70 minutes having averaged 47.1 this season and Kiki Weirick got 80 vs. an average of 55. Weirick made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist and two steals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
