Recap: South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls vs. North Rowan Cavaliers
The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 11th straight loss. They took a serious blow against North Rowan, falling 58-2. South Stanly has not had much luck with North Rowan recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

South Stanly bumped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.3 points per game. As for North Rowan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Stanly's road trip will continue as they head out to face Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Union Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Stanly in North Carolina (Union Academy is ranked 101st, while South Stanly is ranked 573rd). As for North Rowan, they will head out on the road to take on Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salisbury is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
