Soccer Game Preview: Memphis University School vs. Germantown

The Memphis University School Owls will challenge the Germantown Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Memphis University School faced off against Evangelical Christian on Thursday. Memphis University School and Evangelical Christian finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Memphis University School have been dealt a draw since March 3rd.

Meanwhile, Germantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Kingsbury.

With that draw, Memphis University School's record moves to 2-0-2. As for Germantown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Memphis University School came out on top in a nail-biter against Germantown in their previous matchup back in April of 2015, sneaking past 3-2. Does Memphis University School have another victory up their sleeve, or will Germantown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
