Soccer Game Preview: Leander vs. Rouse

The Leander Lions will challenge the Rouse Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Leander will be strutting in after a victory while Rouse will be coming in after a loss.

Leander's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Lehman. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Rouse faced Cedar Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Rouse fell just short of Cedar Park by a score of 2-1. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Kylie Snell, who's now up to nine this season.

Rouse's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Leander, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
