Volleyball Recap: Saint Ignatius College Prep Gets the Win

Saint Ignatius College Prep lost to Marmion back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wolfpack walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cadets.

While Saint Ignatius College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 26-24.

Lucca Gambatese paced Saint Ignatius College Prep's offense, picking up eight kills. Gambatese got some help from Campbell Hahn and his 15 assists. Gambatese was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

The win got Saint Ignatius College Prep back to even at 4-4. As for Marmion, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5.
