Volleyball Recap: Oakes Takes a Loss

Oakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions. The Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Oakes' loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Oakes and Hankinson will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
