Federal Hocking extended the longest winning streak in Tri-Valley - Hocking this week by beating South Gallia, 56-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Eastern made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,616 from 10,977. The improvement came about via a 48-20 victory over Belpre last week.
Miller's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dakota Wilson threw for 97 yards and Logan Wesney had 46 yards receiving. On the ground Kalib McKinnis chipped in 66 yards. Kody McKinnis helped Miller's passing attack out by catching two balls for 35 yards.
Eastern's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Joey Scowden has thrown for 718 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Alex Amos has 12 catches for 193 yards. Scowden also leads the league in rushing with 760 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Eagles take on Trimble. At the moment, Eastern is in third, while the Tomcats are in first.
Federal Hocking led Tri-Valley - Hocking in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Rebels.
