Recap: Westlake Wolverines vs. Lackey Chargers
The Westlake Wolverines lost to the Lackey Chargers back in February, but the Westlake Wolverines didn't allow the Lackey Chargers the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Westlake skirted past Lackey 45-43. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Westlake has managed all season.
Raynna Ratchford continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Fonke, who scored ten points.
The victory got Westlake back to even at 2-2. As for Lackey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Westlake will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lackey at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
