Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Anderson County Mavericks, falling 12-2. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 23-14-1. As for Anderson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Clinton nor Anderson County have any future games scheduled.
