Coatesville had won seven straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 14-4 to make it eight. They never let the Downingtown West Whippets get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 back in April.

As for Downingtown West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Downingtown West's part, Alex Breitfeller was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. What's more, Breitfeller gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April.
