Volleyball Recap: Western Reserve Takes a Loss

After flying high against McKinley on Monday, Western Reserve came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the Mineral Ridge Rams on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Chloeigh Endsley paced Western Reserve's offense, picking up nine kills. Endsley got some help from Quincy Miller and her nine assists.

Western Reserve now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mineral Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Western Reserve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Springfield on the 11th. As for Mineral Ridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Jackson-Milton on the 11th.
