Softball Recap: 18 Straight Home Wins for Lincoln-Way Central

While Lincoln-Way Central's win against Bradley-Bourbonnais wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Boilermakers 3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Boilermakers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kayla Doerre, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Lincoln-Way Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in three consecutive contests.
