Baseball Game Preview: Lompoc Braves vs. Righetti Warriors

The Lompoc Braves will head out to square off against the Righetti Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lompoc is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Lompoc's tournament run continued when they took on Central Catholic on Friday. The Braves fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Righetti didn't have quite enough to beat Maranatha on Friday and fell 3-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noah Kesner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Lompoc's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Righetti, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Lompoc came out on top in a nail-biter against Righetti when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
