Softball Game Preview: Archbishop Carroll Patriots vs. Little Flower Catholic for Girls

For the first time this season, Archbishop Carroll will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to square off against Little Flower Catholic for Girls at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Archbishop Carroll didn't have quite enough to beat Pope John Paul II and fell 4-3. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Little Flower Catholic for Girls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-0 to Cardinal O'Hara.

Little Flower Catholic for Girls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Archbishop Carroll, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Archbishop Carroll's way against Little Flower Catholic for Girls in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Archbishop Carroll made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
