            Tomball Kings made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Westside, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Homeschool blew past the Wolves 16-3 on Friday. This was payback for the Homeschool, who suffered  a  9-3  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Aj Rocha looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits.

 At the plate, Tomball Kings got a  massive  performance out of  Owen Wilkins, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Wilkins is becoming a predictor of the Homeschool's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 7-2 (and 8-11-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaden Goodie, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Tomball Kings  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .657. They are  a perfect 10-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Tomball Kings has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13-1 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tomball Kings will take on Northland Christian at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Homeschool are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Westside, they will challenge Wisdom at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Generals have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.71  runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
