Football Game Preview: Enloe Eagles vs. Rolesville Rams + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Chase White and Amir Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Enloe Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Rolesville Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Enloe took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Corinth Holders with a 28-22 victory. The score was all tied up 15-15 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

O'Sean Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 186 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries. Those 186 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Enloe's defense stepped up as well, laying out David Jarman three times. Leading the way was Derek Matthis with two sacks. Alex Chapman-Evans got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Rolesville waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Pride by a score of 20-10.

Enloe's record now sits at 6-3. As for Rolesville, their record is now an identical 6-3.

Enloe couldn't quite get it done against Rolesville when the teams last played back in September of 2016 as they fell 40-27. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
