Soccer Game Preview: Banks County vs. North Hall

The Banks County Leopards will head out to face off against the North Hall Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Banks County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Banks County fell victim to White County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday. Considering North Hall have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

North Hall's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Banks County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Banks County suffered a grim 10-1 defeat to North Hall when the teams last played back in February of 2022. Can the Leopards avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
