Softball Recap: Foster Comes Up Short

After flying high against Renton last Monday, Foster came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Red Hawks by a score of 20-18 on Monday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Hawks earlier this season, when they won 26-16.

Aaliyah Tab made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Princess Noa, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Foster has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Renton, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.

As of now, neither Foster nor the Red Hawks have any future games scheduled.
