Football Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss

If Jacobs was riding high fresh off their 38-8 takedown of Dundee-Crown last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles fell 27-15 to the Crystal Lake South Gators on Tuesday.

Jacobs' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Crystal Lake South, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jacobs is set to face off against their familiar foe Cary-Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Crystal Lake South will challenge rival Prairie Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
