Basketball Recap: The Cross Christian School Takes a Loss

The Cross Christian School played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 53-30 to the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-10.

Despite the loss, The Cross Christian School still got an impressive performance from Nathan Falzone, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Casen Pruitt, who posted six points and five boards.

The Cross Christian School is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, The Cross Christian School will head out on the road to take on Mountain Grove Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' matchup: after the Lions face off against Lake Christian Academy, they'll take on Trinity Christian Academy again at 7:30 p.m. on January 16, 2026.
